Bio

Hi, I am Daisy Silva. I am originally from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, but the UK has been my home for the last twenty-six years. How did I end up here? Well, I was in my third year at university studying architecture when I decided that working with concrete wasn't for me. One day walking from the campus to my classroom I stopped, looked at the blue sky, prayed for courage and quit. That didn't go down very well with my parents but, as much as I love them, my life is my own. I decided to travel instead. My journey has been full of ups and downs. From working in Paris as an interpreter to working with offenders in the Probation Services, life has been - let's say - challenging and exciting. If anything, I learned to focus on what I want, to plan my own path through life whilst being as disciplined as possible in order to achieve my goals. I believe in taking positive action, appreciating what I have earned whilst contributing to a better community. I am enthusiastic and passionate about life. I love motivating people to achieve their life goals, I am a good listener, communicator and building up rapport are what I do best.
